- There is no way of knowing the tyres history; was it involved in a collision, has it been damaged, has it been stored correctly? Without knowing the true history of the tyre, tyre safety cannot be guaranteed.
- Many of the part worn tyres for sale exceed the recommended tyre age of 6 years.
- They’re not always the best value, due to the amount of legal tread left on the tyre.
- It can be difficult to source identical brands, therefore, leading to a situation of having different brands on the same vehicle.
Because we can not guarantee the safety of part worn tyres, we do not supply or fit them. However, we do understand that for many people the part worn tyre provides them with a cheaper option for putting tyres on their vehicle.
